On Dec. 2007, our factory co-held 4^th Representative and Re-election Conference of China Instrument and Meter Association, Instrument and Meter Material Branch, and 2007 Machine Industry’s Functional Material Standardization Committee Annual Conference. At the end of this year, 70 representatives of instrument and meter field including specialists and directors went to the conference, listening to the association’s report and witnessing the great moment.

       The participants included the council units of China Instrument and Meter Association and Functional Material Standardization Committee’s council units and standing units, which included Chongqing Instrument and Meter Institute, Shanghai Alloy Limited Company, Chongqing Chuanyi No.1 Factory, Shenyang Alloy Material Limited Company and Hangzhou Yongci Group Limited Company.

       The conference was hosted by Zhao Guangming, and the vice councilor of the association. Jiang Youfu, the councilor made his speech about 3^rd council work report and mechanical industry instrument and meter functional material standardization technology committee’s 10^th anniversary working report. He emphasized the introduction of China’s Instrument and Meter Association members’ development, the publication of association journal, and the latest technology and news, and our gaps to international level. He also praised the great significance of the association.

       Wu Xinghua, our factory director, made a speech--- Association is a platform which brings about wealth. He put forward his suggestions and ideas. Our factory was elected as advanced unit in standardization and Wu as advanced individual.
