In Nov. 2011, all employees of Huadong Instrument and Meter Factory’s technique contest was held officially, which was held twice a year, in order to test employees’ basic skills and overall quality, form their habit of active learning as well as the learning atmosphere of “contest, learning, competition, helping each other and aiming at the best”. Meanwhile, through this activity, the factory wish to spot the “elite workers’ and set them as models, encourage the advanced and criticize the backward, cultivate a healthy and active enterprise culture.
In order to better organize this activity, the factory leaders gave highly attention and conducted a meeting specialized in the deployment. After the meeting, each department and workshop coordinated with each other responsibly to ensure the successively holding. This activity consisted of two stages. In November, the theory contest was held and the practical contest was in December. By 15 of this month, both stages had been finished with sound effect.
The workshops participating in the contest included: precision workshop, electric heating workshop, assembling workshop and thermal meter testing and pairing workshop.
