Spring is the season when every creation comes back to life and prospers. On Feb. 1, Huadong instrument and meter factory held its 2014 summarization and commendation conference and “gratitude for your company on the road” employees’ lunch party and lucky draw activity were held in the multifunction hall on the fifth floor.

  The conference began at 9:30 on time when host announced the conference discipline and agenda. Wu Ben, the factory director, made a detailed summarization report on 2014’s annual work before Yao Youfeng, the vice director, made the summarization report of party’ branch and workers’ union and stated the 2014 commendation winners. One after another, the advanced groups, annual coordination groups, advanced production models and advanced workers stepped onto the stage with full spirit to receive the fruit of their hard work. Then, two representatives from electric heater workshop and armoring workshop, Liu Hongwei and Zheng Jianfen, gave speech respectively on their work in 2014 and expressed their sincere thanks to factory leaders, who provided the fine platform for employees and had them exercise their own talents freely, to create better profit for the factory. “Although we've conquered the impregnable pass and trudged a long way, but it's only a step of beginning.” Director Wu made the final speech. The hardship of 2014 has past and here comes 2015 with its opportunity and challenge. He hoped that all advanced groups and individuals would not be conceited, instead they should keep exercise their effect as models. Also, these workers who failed to receive honor should not be discouraged. They should work hard in order to make better performance in 2015’s work. He wished everyone exerts their effort together, to reach our targets. Wu also gave an early happy new year to all employees and wished them happy spring festival, happy family life and that all things go well.

  At 11:30, in order to celebrate the performance in 2014 and reward all workers in the front line, a grand lunch party named “gratitude for your company on the road” was held in the factory canteen. Old or new, every employee got together and enjoyed a fun lucky draw activity. This year, the numerous prizes were well received by workers. With the best wishes, the general manager toasted to all employees and their relatives for the upcoming spring festival.
