——Workers of Our Unit Participated in the Activity 

The center of the world’s attention, the 2016 G20 Summit is going to be held in China. On the morning of Aug. 16, 2016, the establishment and flag presentation ceremony for the Volunteer Team of Yueqing City’s General Worker Union took place in the general Worker Union. With the guidance of Ye Bei, the factory worker union’s committee member in charge of organizational work, 5 employees of Yueqing City Huadong Instrument and Meter Factory participated in this activity and proudly became members of this volunteer team. Afterwards, they joined in the activity which persuaded citizens to adhere to traffic rules and show civilized traffic manners.  

Wearing the suits of volunteers and red caps, holding up the advocating boards of civilized traffic manners, our volunteers went to the crossing with the largest traffic burden in Yueqing City, to guide pedestrians to cross the roads through the zebra lines and adhere to traffic rules and traffic signs. They also dissuaded non-motor vehicles from crossing the roads disregard of the traffic signs and rules, and stopped motor vehicles which intended to not give way to pedestrians or run the red light and many other dangerous traffic manners. Our team advocated that citizens should quit uncivilized traffic manners and voluntarily adhere to traffic rules and regulations, in order to create a safe traffic environment in which every traffic participant has good traffic manners and adheres to the rules.    

  To hold the G20 Summit is a great cause for Zhejiang and China, as well as for each one of Zhejiang citizens. This activity not only shows our workers’ enthusiasm and responsibility, but also makes contribution to Zhejiang’s holding of the Summit in their own way.
